Accommodation in
Five Different Buildings

At Zabola, where stillness meets story, your room is more than a place to sleep — it is part of the estate’s unfolding past. Our guesthouses, built between the 18th and 20th centuries, once served many roles — homes, retreats, quiet corners of a working estate shaped by time. Today, five historic houses have been gently reimagined to welcome guests, each offering its own rhythm, character, and connection to the landscape. No two stays are the same — and that is just as it should be.

The New Castle

Commanding yet graceful, the New Castle was built in the early 20th century under Count Ármin Mikes — a visionary who transformed the estate into a lively centre of hospitality and enterprise. As the Count’s activities expanded, so did the need for space: offices for his companies, guest rooms for an ever-growing circle of visitors, and a modern kitchen from which meals travelled — by tunnel — to the drawing room of the Old Castle. Today, the New Castle stands as the heart of the estate. Home to five suites and six generously appointed rooms, it brings together heritage, comfort, and quiet extravagance — a space where noble character meets contemporary ease.
