The Wildlife Hide

In the forests surrounding Zabola Estate, you have the rare opportunity to observe some of Europe’s most iconic wildlife in its natural habitat. These woodlands are part of one of the continent’s last great wildernesses, where centuries of quiet coexistence between humans and animals continue uninterrupted.

Your journey begins with a short Land Rover drive and an easy walk into the woods, where one of our rangers will lead you to a secluded hide. There, as the forest settles into dusk, you may witness the bears emerge — a moment of stillness, presence, and awe.

Afterward, drinks are served in The Pavilion in the Woods, and you may choose to add a forest sauna or a candlelit dinner nearby.
