By Car: From Bucharest by car, a 3.5 hours drive, 230km, you have to cross Brasov in the direction of Bacau or Târgu Secuiesc. After Santionlunca at km 35 after Brasov turn right towards Covasna. Zabola / Zabala is 7 km after Covasna. In Zabola pass the petrol station and take a right once you see the fortified church (on your right). Pass the catholic church (left). Follow the road until you see a white orthodox church on the right. On the left is the entrance to the park. |

By Train: From Bucharest to Brasov in 2.5h. We arrange a pick up from the train station.
Alternatively from Vienna or Budapest - take the night train until Brasov.
By Plane: Arrive in Cluj (5 hours drive), Sibiu (4 hours drive), Targu Mures (4 hours drive) or Bucharest (4 hours drive) or Bacau (2 hours drive). Apart from British Airways, Malev, Austrian Airlines, Tarom, Lufthansa etc... the following 'low cost' airlines fly to Romania:Wizzair, Skyeurope, Blueair, German Wings, MyAir, Carpatair

There are two possibilities, „Northern route“: Budapest - Debrecen - Oradea – Cluj – Târgu Mures - Sighisoara – Brasov – Covasna – ZABOLA. „Southern route“: Budapest – Szeged – Arad – Deva – Sebes – Sibiu – Fagaras – Brasov - Covasna – ZABOLA.
